KUKA.sim is now the perfect companion for robot programming education KUKA.sim 4.0 adds support for KUKA SCARA and KUKA delta robots. It also means that a robotic integrator can remotely troubleshoot and update robot programs without being physically present at the end customer facility. This saves time during the application development cycle because the software team can start programming while peripherals and components are being ordered and shipped. KUKA.sim enables offline programming of a robot and the IO, even if the physical workcell has not yet been assembled. With a digital twin of the robotic workcell, a developer can program the robot and verify that the application operates as expected. Simulation saves time and money when developing and maintaining automation projects. The KUKA.sim 4.0 version features new capabilities including: KRL editor for advanced offline programming, 3D safety zone configuration, advanced I/O signal editor, robot stopping distance simulation, and WorkVisual project export. KUKA Robotics launches version 4.0 of its KUKA.sim simulation software this week. KUKA.sim enables the application developer to create a digital twin of the workcell and program the robots.
